Honors @ Entrance


Students who present a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution may qualify for Texas Chiropractic College’s Honors @ Entrance Program. This program has two distinct parts, and gives applicants prerequisite credit for courses previously completed in their respective undergraduate programs.

1.  Bachelor’s Degree in a Health Science Discipline

Applicants qualified for this program must have the following prerequisites:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a health science discipline recognized by TCC.
  • An overall grade point average of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) in the above mentioned degree
  • Satisfactorily completed 12 semester hours of biological science coursework. Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, all with a laboratory, are strongly recommended.

2.  Bachelor’s Degree in a Non-Health Science Discipline

Applicants qualified for this program must have the following prerequisites:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a non-health science discipline
  • An overall grade point average of 3.25 (on a 4.0 scale) in the above mentioned degree
  • Satisfactorily completed 12 semester hours of biological science coursework. Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, all with a laboratory, are strongly recommended.
